This is a very special time for you both and we are here to help you make the most of this exciting time. Your wedding should be an event you will remember for a lifetime and we have created a unique setting that is stylish, distinctive, relaxing and a retreat from the stress of everyday life.
We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke approach to our Wedding’s at Barlow Woodseats Hall, this is your day so unlike many venues, we will work with you to plan your perfect day just how you imagined it without set schedules for the day or set menu’s.
Looking for something more intimate, we can offer smaller weddings of under 50 guests held on a Friday and larger Weddings of up to 100 are held on a Saturday, of course if you wish to have exclusive use of the Hall and Courtyard Cottages you can can also opt to hire the entire venue for the whole weekend.
With our on site chefs you have the ability to choose your own menu and drinks packages whether you prefer formal or informal dining, with access to the very best locally sourced produce. We can offer a wide variety of options for canapes, the wedding breakfast and evening snacks, all unique to you. Our Fire Cage Menu options are hugely popular together with our woodfired Pizza’s for your evening snack!
The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, providing an intimate and private space for your special occasion with our on site Wedding Co-ordinator to ensure everything always runs smoothly.
There is ample outside space for guests to wander the stunning grounds of the hall, with panoramic views across the valley to enjoy.
Wedding Parties
We are able to provide access to the barn from 12pm onwards for guest arrival, acoustic music is welcomed in the courtyard during the day with late dance music restricted to indoors between 7.00-11.30pm. The bar is available throughout that period and closes at midnight.
We are limited to a maximum of 100 guests at an event. Where there are fewer than 100 attending for the meal and you would like additional guests to join later we are able to accommodate this provided we are notified in advance , subject to the total number not exceeding 100.

We are always delighted to discuss any event needs and to arrange viewings of the Cruck Longbarn, on-site holiday cottages and the stunning surrounding grounds of the Hall.

Accommodation
We have two cottages on site which are in close proximity to the function room , these must be booked by any wedding party for the night of the party, similarly any private party holding live or dance music must take the accommodation as well. There are 8 double en-suite rooms in the two cottages in total plus a separate bridal suite with it’s own facilities.
Glamping
There is a field where luxury glamping tents can be pitched for additional friends to stay.
