Set in open countryside on the edge of the Peak District, the remarkable Longbarn at Barlow Woodseats Hall dates back to 1530 when it was originally constructed with timber walls and a thatched roof. The recent renovation has kept the property as original as possible, providing a truly unique venue whatever the occasion.
The warm and rustic atmosphere and wide reaching views immediately puts our guests at ease and sets the scene for a friendly and happy celebration whether that be staying in one of our stunning holiday cottages, visiting our restaurant or hosting your Wedding Day, Special Occasion or Corporate event with us.
The original Tudor barn is one of the best kept original cruck barns in Derbyshire and together with our friendly team on hand, our first class service and fantastic locally sourced food cooked beautifully by our on site chief we will ensure whatever the occasion you have the most fantastic time.
Long Barn provides a unique venue with towering original beams creating beautiful timber Cruck arches supported by exposed stone walls most of which remain as they were built nearly 500 years ago.
Exclusive use of the barn, grounds and holiday cottages is available for Weddings, Corporate events and private parties where we can cater for up to 100 guests for a seated formal meal and drinks party.
Alternatively you can come and enjoy these beautiful surroundings by visiting our restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings or for Sunday Lunch. Pop up events are also hosted throughout the year so keep an eye on our social posts for the latest events.
