Long Barn provides a unique venue with towering original beams creating beautiful timber Cruck arches supported by exposed stone walls most of which remain as they were built nearly 500 years ago.
The warm and rustic atmosphere puts people at ease and sets the scene for a friendly and happy celebration especially when decked out as a wedding barn. Set in our own conservation area on the edge of the Peak District we are close to Sheffield and Chatsworth House which was originally built by Bess of Hardwick who is also believed to have lived at Barlow Woodseats Hall.
The original Tudor barn is one of the longest in the Derbyshire, this perfect venue for special occasions provides exclusive use for parties of over 50 people. We are able to cater for a total of 100 guests for a seated formal meal and arriving for the evening party.
We have created a selection of dishes which you are able to choose you perfect meal.
Alternatively if a more casual dining experience is preferred we can cater for up to 100.
In summer, our outdoor fire-pit kitchen serves a selection of roast meats and chicken carved straight from the griddle. In winter, our home baked succulent pies are a real treat, with vegetarian options always available.
