Barlow Woodseats Hall is ideal for your corporate retreats, whether large parties, small exclusive meetings, corporate away days or training events.
Due to COVID-19 many businesses have been operating remotely for a substantial amount of time. Limited options, interaction and freedom has left many employees with low morale and productivity. Therefore, here at the Hall we are offering you a Covid secure environment for your team to interact outside of the home working environment.
With such a unique and historic place, we can offer an unbelievable location central to the UK, with easy accessible transport links.
Set in 15 acres of glorious countryside and on the doorstep to the Peak District, join us and reconnect with your team in way in which you can’t from within the confines of a boardroom or convention centre.
The Space
The Barn at the Hall is the longest original cruck barn, known to exist in the UK, ideal for conferences and dining. The secluded spaces within the beautiful gardens and surrounding land also offer great external space for outdoor events. Our renovated cottages also provide a spacious and relaxing environment, able to host smaller meetings and presentations.
Experiences
Working with some of the best external providers in the region, we have an abundance of activities, workshops, crafts and adventure for you and your team to explore. We can offer events tailored to your needs, business size and budget, while ensuring all Covid restrictions and precautions are adhered to. Our recent events have included everything from orienteering, foraging and bushcraft skills, gin tasting, tipi dining, campfire stories and sleeping under the stars.

Our chefs can provide a full days menu, including options for off site catering.

As many of our regular customers know, exclusive use comes as standard at Barlow Woodseats Hall. We only ever host one event at a time. This means that you will not have to worry about sharing facilities with other guests.

Accommodation
Situated onsite within the courtyard of Barlow Woodseats Hall, the three cottages provide a total of nine bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms.
Glamping
We also have the option to provide a glamping village in our adjacent field. Our Bell Tents are furnished with timber low frame beds, memory foam mattresses and luxuriously furnished with fair trade interiors.
